Academy

Academy is a community music academy for students aged 5-18 who attend title I schools. Harmony Project Phoenix leads 30 small group classes (2-3 students per class) grouped by age, level, and instrument. Academy takes place Monday through Friday and, between all the groups, totals over 60 hours per week for approximately 36 weeks per year. The Academy Program takes place at the Central United Methodist Church (1875 N Central Ave. Phoenix, AZ 85004).

American Sign Language Choir

American Sign Language (ASL) Choir offers a creative outlet for members of the deaf and hard of hearing community to demonstrate their musical talents through signed songs. This program is proudly sponsored by the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM)’s Play On grant.

Early Childhood Orchestra

Early Childhood Orchestra (ECO) is a bilingual program (English and Spanish) that introduces 3 to 5-year-olds to music by engaging them to build instruments out of recycled materials and teaching them how to play them. This program is proudly sponsored by Valley of the Sun United Way.

Teaching Artist in Residence

Teaching Artist in Residence is provided to high school students at Title I schools campus. Currently participating schools: Pan-American Charter School, Trevor Browne High School, Carl Hayden High School, Maryvale High School, and North High School. This program is proudly sponsored by APS and Phoenix IDA.
